Face Masks: One Mask For Each Day Of The Week

It is possible to make a face mask for each day of the week.

Do you get up every Monday with dark circles under your eyes? Do you have a tired face on Friday after a week of work? How would you like to have luminous and toned skin when going out on weekends? By making a face mask, you can have more beautiful skin.

We present to you seven homemade recipes so that you can prepare your own natural face masks  using ingredients that will serve to nourish, soften and tone your skin, so as to face the fatigue of the first days of the week and to be radiant all weekend.

Monday: oats

On Monday, you need a tonic and nutritious product; prepare a mask with finely ground oats, or better yet, pulverized.

Mix it with hot water and let stand 10 minutes until it cools. Apply it to your face and leave it on for half an hour. You are now ready to face the week. Ideal for a face mask.

Tuesday: yogurt

On Tuesday, you are less tired than the day before, but there is still an effort to be made because the week is long. You can therefore make a mask with yogurt, a food that will hydrate your skin without making it oily.

In addition, it is enough to apply natural yogurt on the face and leave it on for half an hour. It’s an ideal face mask that’s ready in the blink of an eye.

Wednesday: clay

You are now in the middle of the week and it is the right time to cleanse your skin deeply, to rid it of toxins and impurities and at the same time provide it with minerals.

For this purpose, you will use green clay, which you can find in a herbalist or drugstore.

Mix the green clay powder with lukewarm water, taking care to add the water little by little to give it a creamy texture that does not drip.

Apply it all over your face, avoiding the eye area, and leave on for about 20 to 30 minutes until it dries completely. Then rinse gently with lukewarm water.

This mask will help eliminate excess fat which makes the skin shine. If you have dry skin, instead of mixing clay with water, mix it with yogurt; after applying this mask, always moisturize your skin properly with your usual cream or oil.

Thursday: face mask with lemon and honey

The weekend is approaching and it’s time to cleanse your skin and rid it of impurities; for that, nothing better than lemon, which cleanses and purifies. And then the honey will allow you to hydrate the skin and make it luminous. A perfect mask for the face!

Grate the zest of a lemon and mix it with honey. Its texture is quite sticky, however if it is heated a little it will become more liquid.

Apply this mixture on the face and leave on for half an hour; rinse afterwards.

Friday: cucumber

Friday is finally here and you are ready to go out, but your skin reflects the fatigue of the week. You can make a face mask with cucumber.

You will use cucumber to refresh your skin, to deeply hydrate it and make it more toned.

To prepare this mask, grate the cucumber and mix it with milk or a vegetable drink of rice. Since this mixture is liquid, use a cotton pad to apply it to your skin, as if you wanted to remove makeup. At the same time, cut two slices of cucumber and place one on each eyelid. So your eyes will be more sparkling.

Lie down and relax for at least 20 minutes. Then wash your face well with water. It is a mask that you can also use in the evening before going to sleep in order to eliminate the impurities accumulated during the day.

Saturday: avocado

On Saturday, once you’ve rested well, it’s time to nourish your skin to make it brighter.

To prepare this mask, mash half an avocado with a fork to give it a creamy consistency.

As avocado is rich in fatty acids, vitamins and minerals, you won’t need any additional ingredients.

Apply it directly to your skin and leave it on until you feel it has dried, then rinse your face with water.

Sunday: lavender

On Sunday, you must relax your features and for that you will prepare an infusion of lavender or officinal lavender that you will let infuse for a while.

Once warm, apply it delicately to your face with a cotton pad. You will be ready to enjoy a restful sleep.

There you have it, now you know how to make your face masks.
