Despite such alternatives, obesity remains one of the leading causes of death, which is why health authorities around the world are on high alert on this problem.

One of the factors for preventing obesity is to avoid sedentarism, as it has a direct impact on being overweight. The muscle immobility of the body and, therefore, the accumulation of calories or energy promotes obesity.

The body has to spend the nutrients consumed in food, and the best way to do this is through physical activity. Going to work while walking helps to counter being overweight. Some people also choose to ride a bicycle, which is also good for the environment.

On the other hand, doing morning exercises like hiking, cycling or swimming helps reduce body fat and fight obesity.

2. Medical surveillance

The body mass index (BMI) is the indicator that helps to determine the state of overweight person. This indicator is deduced from the size and mass of the individual. After obtaining the BMI, factors such as age and gender are examined.

However, it is recommended to perform an annual medical examination to rule out any condition related to obesity. This indicator contributes to our health care.

3. Eat properly

Correct diet and obesity.

Eating and being physically active are both part of a healthy lifestyle. Their achievement guarantees physical, psychological and physiological well-being.

Nutritionists recommend exercise in conjunction with a balanced diet, as it contributes to physical performance and both against obesity.

Diets high in protein, vitamins and nutrients promote the development of lean mass (muscle) and counteract fatty deposits throughout the body.

On the other hand, calories must be consumed in a balanced way throughout the day, to avoid being overweight, but also a too low weight.

In addition, processed, high fat, or synthetic foods should be avoided, as they significantly deteriorate health conditions.
