1. The ready-made salads

Although these are dishes made from vegetables, they are generally of poor quality.

In addition, it is common for these salads to stay in the freezer for several weeks. This means that the food is not fresh and that it is full of preservatives.

Most of these salads are also accompanied by seasonings high in sodium, sweeteners and preservatives.

The best option is to prepare your own salads. By doing this, you will save money but you will also manage to lose weight.

Smoothies are not all the same and sometimes we think they are very healthy. But not everything labeled as a “smoothie” is healthy.

It is much cheaper and easier to make your own smoothie in the morning. This will ensure that you use fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables.

5. Fat-free products

Fat-free processed foods don’t guarantee the weight loss you’re looking for. In fact, healthy fats make you feel fuller.

However, you need to be careful with these fat free foods as they might be giving you empty calories.

The best thing you can do is prepare at least 80% of the meals with organic food.

6. Yogurt ice cream

Yogurt ice cream is the biggest scam of this century. Many people think it is a very healthy food when it is not at all.

In these ice creams, a large amount of refined sugar is added and the same flavors as in normal ice creams.

If you really want yogurt ice cream, you better make it yourself with plain yogurt. Sweeten with stevia, add fruit and remember not to overdo it.

7. “Healthy” drinks

Diet drinks or other similar drinks should be eliminated from your list of supposedly healthy foods. These chemical beverages are no better than a glass of soda.

They are often full of synthetic chemical sweeteners that are linked to cancer. They must therefore be avoided at all costs.

Instead, take coconut water or just brew some fruit-flavored water.

8. Wholemeal bread among the unhealthy foods

Here’s another food that we think is healthy but is not. The labels of these breads often state that they are very healthy and that you can eat them every day.

However, the reality is quite different. Eating wholemeal bread is like eating white bread.

Many of the breads that are labeled with “multi-grain” or “wheat” formulas are typically made with refined flours.

Thus, you will not get all the nutritional benefits of wholemeal flours.

Make sure you always read the ingredients, or better yet, bake your own bread with gluten-free flour. It is not complicated and it will enchant you.
