We all get up from time to time with the left foot. However, avoiding this is easier than it seems. Don’t miss out on the best keys to facing the morning with energy and enjoying life to the fullest!

Have you ever wondered how to start the day right? It is normal to have to wait a little while before you get your ideas a little clearer and can focus on your routine.

However, there are different ways to feel more active without having to constantly resort to external elements. Just put into practice a few simple tips that will make your life more enjoyable.

There is nothing worse than starting the day without motivation. Without you realizing it, it brings about a whole host of facts, conscious or unconscious, that are causing you to have an unpleasant day. So we are going to reveal some keys to you to start your day in the best possible way.

1. Perception and attention

The first thing to do every morning is to stay in bed for a few minutes after waking up. During this brief period of time,  begin by inhaling and exhaling deeply five times in a row with your eyes closed. You will see that your spirit will wake up little by little.

Then briefly and mentally examine your entire body, starting with the feet. Continue working your way up, focusing on each part until you reach your head. Then open your eyes.

2. Stretching, a wonderful option to start your day off right

Take a minute to get your body moving. Sit on the edge of your bed and stretch your arms, then your legs, and then your back. This is the best way to stretch in the morning and put muscle stiffness aside.

You can then stand up and try to touch the tips of your feet with your fingertips. Then perform a few slight rotations of the neck. If you want to start the day well, these stretches will be great allies.

3. Stay hydrated, the best way to start your day

One of the main actions of personal care is to hydrate. Remember that you have just gone a lot of hours without eating or drinking. So there’s no better way to start the day off right than with a glass of water. Good hydration is fundamental to effectively performing the tasks of the day.

You might think you don’t need it, but you will find that as soon as your mouth comes in contact with the water,  you will feel much better.

Try to make sure that the liquid is not too hot or too cold. Room temperature is most recommended (or, if you prefer, take cool water).

4. A revitalizing shower

There is nothing more revitalizing than a good shower to start the day right. Those five minutes can mark a before and after in how you face the day.

It would be best to start with a slightly warm temperature. At the end, lower it a few degrees. If you don’t mind too much, finish with cold water for the last 45 seconds. When you get out of the shower, you will feel more awake and active.

5. Breakfast, a top priority

A healthy breakfast.

Don’t even think about skipping breakfast. Not having breakfast  could indeed be associated with certain health problems, such as obesity or being overweight.

A good option could be a juice rich in vitamin C as well as foods containing carbohydrates and proteins. Obviously, you must take the time necessary to chew well, slowly and in a conscious manner.

Don’t eat lunch while looking at your phone, mail, or newspaper. These are not good companions if you want to start the day well.

Manage your time well

Unfortunately,  the vast majority of people start their day in a hurry. However, this may be the worst way to start your day. It involves emotional and physical expenditure and, moreover, immediately puts you in a bad mood.

Try to get up a little earlier and go to bed before your normal schedule. Even though it might sound silly, you’ll sleep better, your mood will feel it, and you’ll have plenty of time to wake up quietly and implement these few tips.

You may have seen it:  starting the day well doesn’t take more than 40 minutes. Remember that your personal well-being should be high on your priority list. Therefore, just take this first hour of the day to do what’s best for you.
